4.Presale Ticket Reservation (Please use the Family FamiPort kiosk or the online FamiTicket ticketing system)
(1) Tickets can be purchased 31 days in advance (excluding the day of travel) at FamiPort kiosk or on the FamiTicket website (e.g.: Tickets can be purchased after  00:00 a.m. on 3/1 for your planned trip on 4/1).
(2) For the outbound journey, you can reserve seats from the "Departure Station - TRA Chiayi Railway Station/THSR Chiayi Station" to all subsequent stations after Longmei (e.g., Chiayi-Longmei, Xiding, Shizhuo, Fenqihu, Shizicun, and Alishan)
(3) For the return journey, you can reserve seats from the "Departure Station - Alishan Bus Station" to all subsequent stations after Longmei (e.g., Alishan-Longmei, Chukou, Dingliu, TRA Chiayi Railway Station/THSR Chiayi Station).
(4) Presale seat reservations, whether for the outbound or return journey, are limited to boarding from the "Departure Station." Seats at intermediate stations will not be reserved if not boarded from the Departure Station.
(5) Tickets booked through FamiTicket website must be picked up at the Family Mart on the day of travel at the latest by entering the order number. Please allow sufficient time for picking up the ticket and waiting for the bus.
(6) Refund Procedure: For pre-purchased Alishan Line tickets through FamilyMart (FamiPort) or online through FamiTicket that need to be refunded due to unforeseen circumstances, the ticket, name, phone number, and a copy of the bank passbook cover must be sent by registered mail to "3F, No. 61, Sec. 2, Zhongshan N. Rd., Taipei City 104" (Recipient: FamiTicket) before the day of travel (or the following day in case of force majeure events). Alternatively, you can avail a FamilyMart kiosk machine and then proceed to the counter for a refund (a 10% handling fee applies to all refunds).
(7) Refund procedure: Tickets - Transportation - Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Ticket Refund - Confirm and agree to Terms&Conditions - Enter the refund recipient's phone number - Scan the ticket barcode or enter it manually - Confirm - Print the refund slip. Present the "Refund Slip" and "Ticket" together at the counter to complete the refund process.
(8) For the convenience of passengers who are unable to take the scheduled bus after purchasing the tickets, they can queue up with their ticket voucher to take other bus schedule within the same day.

1. There are full tickets and half tickets. All day return tickets are offered at discount prices already. Apologize for no further discount.
2. Half tickets are available to:
household registrations outside Chiayi County、Chiayi City，Senior citizens at the age of 65 or above, with ROC ID cards or Senior Citizen Cards
(2)household registrations outside Chiayi County、Chiayi City ，Holders of Disabled Cards. Must ride with a guardian or a partner.
(3) Holders of Disabled Cards. Must ride with a guardian or a partner.
(4) Children below 12 years old at height of 115cm and below 150cm can purchase half tickets with valid IDs.
3.Free:
(1)For senior citizens at or over 65 years old with household registration in Chiay County, holders of honor bus pass, or people with disability card, they can ride on buses for free with valid identifications.
(2)Children at the height of 115cm or below or children below 6 years old but at the height above 115cm are allowed to ride on the buses free with valid IDs. They are allowed to occupy seats. But they must be accompanied by adults with valid tickets. Each adults with valid ticket are allowed to take two children that are eligible to ride on the buses free. All children exceeding the requirements must purchase half tickets.

Alishan National Scenic Area

1. Baggage/Luggage Policy: Due to the different structure of commuter bus compartments compared to tour buses, the luggage space is limited. It is recommended for passengers to avoid carrying multiple or oversized luggage items as there may be insufficient space. If luggage cannot fit, passengers may need to keep it beside their seats, which might affect the quality of the journey. Your cooperation is appreciated, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
2. As from today, the boarding location for the "Alishan Station" will be changed from the 7-11 sales office of the Alishan Forest Recreation Area to the Alishan Transit Station (right diagonal to the ticket booth at the entrance of Alishan).
3. Taiwan Trip-Board and get off from the Alishan AB Route at the "Transit Platform" of the Alishan Forest Recreation Area.
4. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Alishan Forest Recreation Area except from the toll station of main gate to the 1st control post, residential area of Xianglin Village, and outdoor smoking areas (hinterland outside 1F of Alishan House, hinterland outside 5F of Alishan House, hinterland next to the public toilet of Shouzhen Temple, behind Alishan Gou Hotel, and hinterland next to the public toilet of Zhushan Station bus shelter) to maintain environmental quality. Violators will be fined with NTD$2000 to $10000 according to article 31 of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act.

Boarding Locations:
1. HSR Chiayi Station No.2 Exit -> BRT -> Chiayi Railway Station (25 minutes) -> board the Taiwan Trip Alishan B Route at the Chiayi County Bus Stop
2. HSR Chiayi No.2 Exit No.7 Platform -> board the Taiwan Trip Alishan A Route at the Chiayi County Bus Stop
