The Jiji Route is operated by the All Day Bus Transport Co., Ltd. and travels mainly from Taichung Gancheng Station, passing through Taichung Railway Station, Daqing Railway Station, Taichung HSR Station and other important transportation hubs. Jiji Township has been selected as one of the top ten tourist towns and one of the classic small towns by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. The Jiji Railway Line stops at Jiji Station, which is a station built from Formosan cypress wood. The station was reconstructed after the 921 earthquake and has become a local landmark. In addition to cycling along the Green Tunnel, other attractions include the Wuchang Temple, which has been preserved as earthquake relics, the Mingxin Academy and the Endemic Species Research Institute, making the town a popular tourist destination for domestic and foreign visitors.
